ggTV Entertainment Inc. (hereafter "glip") takes your privacy seriously and treats all your personal information with the utmost care. In this privacy statement glip explains to you which data will be processed if you use our services. glip also informs you of the purpose for which your data will be processed and what rights you have with regard to the processing of your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: GDPR). glip therefore advises you to read this privacy statement carefully. About glip The entity responsible for the processing of your personal data is ggTV Entertainment Inc., having its registered office in Delaware, USA offers an online platform (the “Platform”) for sharing gameplay clips (“Clips”). The Platform is accessible via www.glip.gg (the “Website”), via the glip desktop software (the “Desktop App”) and via the glip Android application (the “Mobile App”). We collect your personal data in a number of ways. For example, we receive personal data while you use the Desktop and Mobile Apps, or when you visit the Website.

In short, we are glip, and when you use glip we will use some personal information about you. We will take care of your personal information as we are responsible for the personal information we collect. What personal data are processed by glip, why and on what basis? Below you will find an overview of the personal data glip processes, and the purposes for which glip processes your personal data. The legal basis and the retention period for processing these data is indicated in each case.

Account information: When you register for an account for glip, we process your mobile number for the purpose of account management, password recovery, account verification, login, and for the purpose of communicating with our users about our service. The password you choose, is used for login purposes as well. In addition, you may add a photo to your account.The legal basis for the processing of these personal data is the performance of a contract and the legitimate interests of glip.

Glip uses user analytics tool, Amplitude for continuously improving user experience. User account information data (excluding any PII) is passed to Amplitude's API (https://api2.amplitude.com/). Amplitude cannot identify any user as glip does not share any PII.

Clips: When a user uses the Desktop App or Mobile App to create a Clip, that user may share that Clip on the Platform. Such Clips may contain audio recordings as well.The legal basis for the processing of these personal data is the performance of a contract by glip. Clips will be stored on the Platform until the User deletes the Clip.

IP-Addresses When you use the Desktop App, Mobile App or Website, we will register your IP-address for analytics purposes. glip uses Mixpanel, Segment, and its own analytics system to analyze how users use the Platform. The legal basis for the processing of these personal data is the legitimate interests of glip to analyze how users use the Platform, so glip can improve the Platform. These data will be retained, until you delete your account.

Unique Device Identifier: In order to enhance the security of the Platform, we attempt to identify a user’s device serial numbers or factory ID. This enables glip to inform the user that his account has been used on an unknown device.The legal basis for processing this information is the legitimate interest of glip to provide great service to our user. glip will delete Unique Device Identifiers associated with a user, when that user deletes his account.

Social Login Information: You may choose to connect your social media accounts to your glip account. In that case you will authorize glip to use your social long details (called Social OAuth) to connect your social media account to glip.The legal basis for processing this information is your consent, which you may revoke at any time. glip will stop processing this information, when you withdraw your consent.

Are we allowed to use this information? Yes, we’re allowed to use this information. First, it allows us to run the service so you can use glip to post your clips. Other information is used because we have a valid interest to use that information. That means we have a good legal reason to use the information, and that reason is that we are always trying to improve glip and make it a better place for you. We will stop using your personal information at once, when we no longer need it.

In what cases does glip disclose personal data to third parties? Data will not be provided to third parties, with the exception of the following cases: When you have given permission to do so yourself. If disclosure to third parties is required on the basis of legislation and/or regulations, if glip deems this necessary for a lawsuit or if glip deems it necessary to protect its rights. In the event that glip provides data to the processors engaged by it that process personal data on behalf of glip. This data is only processed for the execution of that order. An example of this is the hosting of the Platform, and parties such as Mixpanel and Segment that supply glip with statistics about your use of the Platform. glip has concluded agreements with these processors about the security measures they need to take to protect your data. The Website may contain hyperlinks with which you leave the Website and arrive at the website of another party. glip has no control over third party services and/or websites that are linked to. The use of these services and/or websites of third parties may be subject to a different privacy statement and/or conditions. This privacy statement of glip only relates to (personal) data obtained within the framework of the services of glip or the Website or the Mobile App. glip does not accept any responsibility or liability for (the operation and/or content of) services and/or websites of third parties.

In short, glip will not give your personal information to others, unless this is absolutely necessary. What are your rights? Under the GDPR, you have a number of rights with regard to your data and its processing. Below we have listed all rights. Right of access: you have the right to access your personal data and additional information about the processing of your personal data. Right of rectification: you have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data. Right to be forgotten: you have the right to ask glip to remove your personal data (the right to be forgotten). Right of restriction: you have the right to request from glip to obtain the restriction of the processing of your personal data, for example if you have disputed the correctness of your personal data. Right of objection: you have the right to object to the processing of personal data based on the legitimate interests of glip. Direct marketing: if personal data are processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for such marketing. In that case, glip no longer processes your personal data for that purpose. Right to data portability: you have the right to receive personal data that you have provided to glip in a structured, common and machine-readable form and you have the right to forward these data to another data controller, where the processing is based on your consent or on an agreement. Withdrawal of consent: where the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The revocation of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on this consent before it is revoked.

You can submit your request to glip at glipdev@ggtv.co. glip will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within one (1) month of receipt of the request. This period may be extended by two (2) months, depending on the complexity of the requests. glip will inform you within one (1) month after receipt of the request if such an extension will take place, stating the reason for the delay.We may refuse a request from you, for example because your request is unfounded or excessive or because we cannot or do not have to comply with your request (from a legal point of view). In the event of a rejection, glip will notify you.

You also have the right to submit a complaint to the Personal Data Authority. How does glip protect your data? glip attaches great importance to the security of your data. glip has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. For instance, glip will restrict access to its data to certain IP-addresses. Where possible, we only store encrypted versions of personal data.

In short, we will protect your personal information as best we can, so no other persons can access your personal information. Can this privacy statement be changed? This privacy statement is subject to change. The last change was on 28 Aug, 2021. In the event of material changes, we will notify you via the Website, Mobile App or Desktop App, or by email.

User data is not shared by glip with any external party unless the user wants to share any data themselves, like in the case of streaming to Youtube, Facebook, Twitch and similar publishing platforms. glip uses Youtube API services for users to stream their content to their Youtube channel.
